15 minutes in the Word
15 minutes in prayer

If you will spend 15 minutes each day in the Bible and 15 minutes in prayer your life will be revolutionized!

The Word

Did you know the Bible is alive? It isn’t an archaic book written by the inspiration of man, but rather, it is the very Word of God written by the inspiration of God Himself.

“For this reason, we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.” 1 Thessalonians 2:13

Jesus said: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

Jesus here quoted a Scripture written by Moses to the devil! Jesus and Satan both know that the Word of God is alive and powerful! This is why Paul the apostle wrote this passage:

“For the Word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword…” Hebrews 4:12

And to Timothy, his son in the faith, he writes:

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” 2 Timothy 3:16

Spend 15 minutes in the Word every day. Use the reading plan below to help you.

Nobody’s voice sounds like yours to God. He created you and He knows your voice.

Prayer is hard on the flesh but it gives life to your spirit, calms your soul, quiets your mind, and releases the power of God!

Commit to spending 15 minutes each day in prayer.

One of the most effective ways to pray is by using the Lord’s Prayer. This Prayer Outline, given to us by Jesus Himself, helps you know how to pray.

Prayer Boost

One of the greatest boosts to your prayers is to fast when you pray! There are countless Biblical examples of how fasting releases the presence and power of God. One of the greatest examples of the power of fasting is how Jesus Himself fasted. The Bible says that when Jesus went into the desert to fast and to be tempted by the devil, the Spirit led Jesus; but when the fast was completed it says that Jesus returned in the “power of the Spirt.” Do you need supernatural power in your life? Fast!
