What Matters To Us

God created the family as the cornerstone of His creation. We have ministries to meet the spiritual needs of your entire family.

We were created for God’s presence. He created Adam and Eve in His presence for friendship and purpose. The Bible tells us that, “God inhabits the praises of His people.” (Psalm 22:3) That is why we begin every service with worship. Miracles happen in God’s presence.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father, lived a sinless human life, offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We love Him because He first loved us.

Christianity is not about willpower but Spirit power. It is about the Holy Spirit resting upon and filling ordinary people, enabling them to do extraordinary things. The Bible says, “The kingdom of God is not in word but in power” (1 Corinthians 4:20). We believe the church is assigned to do the works of Jesus until He comes back and this is accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit. “And you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you shall be witnesses to Me…” (Acts 1:8). We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son.

The Bible is God’s perfect Word to us. It is heaven speaking to earth. Through the Bible God guides us, inspires us, and reveals Himself to us. We value the Word of God above everything else. “Heaven and earth will pass away by My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:35

God tells us to love people, all people. Therefore love is what we do, expressed in a thousand different ways. “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35

The Church is a gathering of God’s people. God did not design us to live life alone. He designed us to do life together. That is why we gather on Sundays and throughout the week in our Connect Groups to develop deep friendships, learn the Word, and use our spiritual gifts to encourage and strengthen one another.

Jesus came to save the world. That means every single person. Our goal as a church is to bring Jesus to people and to bring people to Jesus.
