This testimony that starts back in 2015. When my second child was born we were faced with going from 2 incomes to 1 income because the numbers did not make sense to have 2 kids in full-time daycare. When we came to GPC in 2016 and we accepted Jesus into our lives, tithing was a difficult concept to follow through with. Slowly as we started tithing more constantly and going to small group, we started to pray and ask the Lord in 2016 for a breakthrough with my career (growth and more money), so that I could provide for my family and not struggle month-to-month; it seemed that every month we were breaking even or slightly going in the red.
We prayed constantly in our connect group and in our everyday prayers.
For 2 years, we stayed faith that Lord would provide and that it was just a matter of time.
On January 2019, my company reorganized and although I had worked my butt off the only thing I received was more work; at that moment I decided to start looking for another job. I applied to several opportunities. One in particular was for an Associates Sales Engineering position at a company that I was over qualified for. Within a day, I received a call for a phone interview. After the interview, I was called back for a 2nd interview. After the 2nd interview, I was called back for a 3rd interview.
Two days after the 3rd interview, the company called me with an offer.
They had revised the position to be senior position and offered me MUCH more per year more than what I am currently making for my base and benefits start my first day. God is faithful and good and I start this new exciting position this Monday (03/25/2019).
