COMMUNITY CARE AND PRAYER NIGHT – 3rd and 4th THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH in Rancho Penasquitos, Poway and Escondido.  To read about the history and to sign up to volunteer visit:  November and December we collect food for Thanksgiving and Christmas bags. Contact  for more information.

HOMELESS OUTREACH – First Monday of each month 6:30pm in downtown San Diego Salvation Army to share food and fellowship with the growing number of less fortunate in San Diego. It is 90 minutes that will mean the world to those you serve. We distribute clothing, blankets, shoes, and other needed donations. see 825 Seventh Ave, SD 92101. CITY OF REFUGE – David and Christina DeWitt sold their comfortable home in North County several years ago and moved downtown to live and minister to many families who live there. Join them on Saturdays to pack groceries and distribute food and clothing to needy families. City of Refuge is located at 2452 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92102. RIDES AND SMILES – Would you drive a senior neighbor to a doctor’s appointment or to the store? You’ll receive liability insurance, mileage reimbursement. You choose which rides, if any, to give. For information, call Marilyn Greenblatt (858) 391-0033.

ABRAXAS – Churches of North County Inland have jointly adopted Abraxas High School. Abraxas, located in Poway, receives the least amount of funding of any school in the district, yet is vitally important. This school serves as the last chance most kids attending will have to get their lives back on track. PUBLIC SCHOOLS – each Elementary School has various ways you can volunteer. One way is to work with the “Running Club”. This is a great initiative to help youth get active and prevent the epidemic of childhood diabetes. Contact
