At GPC we believe Jesus came to save, heal, and deliver!
The word Jesus used interchangeably for all three of these is SOZO. It’s a Greek word that means salvation, healing, and deliverance. It ultimately means “well-being” in every area of your life.
We believe that prayer is what releases this SOZO, the kingdom of God in the earth – heaven on earth! This is why Jesus told us to pray, “Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Therefore, GPC is a praying church. We have numerous ways for you to get involved.
Here are 6 of them:
Prayer is the engine of the Church. It is also the secret power of every believer, as well as a shield of protection.
God says, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirt, says the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

You will find two key opportunities for prayer at every Sunday morning service:
- Join us at 9:20 am for Sunday morning pre-service prayer in the room to the left of the theater.
- Prayer teams will be announced during the service either during worship or after the service. You are welcome to come to the front for prayer at that time.
