Women at GPC

Instead of connecting the dots…let’s connect our hearts!

Everything is new right now. But in the face of “new”, we have different challenges. The Women’s Team at GPC would like to hear from you. Please take this brief survey.

2021 GPC Women's Survey

Thank you for filling out this survey. You do not have to give your name. Please put N/A on any questions you wish to skip.

Someone to share your walk with and pray together with?

It was more than we could have asked for! We had young and old, saved and unsaved, friends and family. It was a precious time of fellowship and we expect to do more in the future! Our guest speaker MJ Mester was unable to come. Her plan was to share how the Written Word helps us get to know the living Word. We need both understanding and experience. We had a time of fellowship, prayer and then Shell shared how experiencing God changes everything and Mary shared the importance of knowing our identity in Christ and His in us.

We broke into small groups and enjoyed meaningful interaction. Lastly, we prayed for those who were sick among us. Mary shared a document she prepared on “How to Process a Promise” Recently a scripture was highlighted to her in her Bible reading and she shows how she digs deep to better understand the Word using

GPC Women Believe

• God wants to have an intimate, personal, loving relationship with you.
• God wants you to be a part of a faith community.
• God has created you uniquely and has given you gifts that can benefit those around you as well as the world.

GPC Women’s Ministry

Shell Cowper-Smith and Mary Puplava share some thoughts from
Hope Ettore, Marcia Brown, Angela Willett.

GPC women’s ministry is about drawing out what God has put in us, so we get to know Him more. We are all unique and when we come together, we see more of Jesus – like a beautiful tapestry.

We want to hear from you as well so send a comment on the form below.

As women, we know the value of relationships. Even though we are busy – we know the value of a talk with a good friend… whether it’s with coffee, or over the phone, at the park with kids, a quick email, or a good cry on a best friend’s shoulder, we were made for relationships and connecting. We have many ways women can connect.

GPC WOMEN’S RETREAT – 2021 – Date to be determined

On a deeper level, we crave a spiritual connection with other women of faith. We want to share our hearts and we want to grow as vibrant followers of Jesus Christ, loving him more each day. We want to learn to trust and we want to be healed from past hurts so we can walk in victory. We want a safe place to open up and be ourselves. We want to laugh and share our deepest joys, and we want to have friends who care when we go through hard times. And each of us wants to be a good friend in return.

Besides connecting with other women, there are other things that matter to us. We care deeply about our families but want to do something beyond our own four walls. We want to reach out to our community and our world. Making a difference matters to us. We want to discover how we can impact our world with the gifts we have been given; and, we want to introduce others to Jesus.

Retreats are so refreshing and re-firing.  We have one each year.

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” Titus 2:3-5

At GPC you can grow in your faith and connect with other women throughout the week – from Mommies groups to Missions groups, from groups for Single Women to Bible Study groups. GPC wants to give you opportunities to grow, develop gifts, and connect with others who share your passions.  Below we have listed a few contact people if you want to connect and chat about what God is stirring up in your heart. Every woman, no matter what age, is a part of the whole. Each has a gift, a calling, a destiny to share. We want to stir that up and give women at the outlet to mature in their gifts and calling.
