What I Wish My Parents Knew- Parent Forum- Middle School

The teen years can be tough, from insecurities and comparison, both academic and peer pressure, bullying, drugs, alcohol, depression – and even suicide ideation – there is a real need to help solve real problems. In order to better support our teens, both Public Schools and the faith community have come together to collaborate and create a forum that empowers parents to raise their 21st Century teens. Over 6000 parents have attended over the years with overwhelmingly positive reviews. This upcoming seminar has workshops created from the feedback given by teenagers and will make a positive impact for families within our communities by giving insight and equipping parents to help their teenagers combat these challenges.
